HYPEBOYS X TYLER HERRO CAMP '26
Hypeboys Is Proud to Sponsor Tyler Herro's Hometown Basketball Camp
When Tyler Herro was traded back to the Milwaukee Bucks this year, it wasn't just a roster move — it was a hometown kid coming home. Herro grew up in Whitefish Bay, just outside Milwaukee, and this August he brought that homecoming full circle by hosting his annual youth basketball camp in the city he now calls home again. Hypeboys was honored to step in as a sponsor of the event, putting our support behind the next generation of Milwaukee athletes.
A Homecoming Worth Celebrating
Milwaukee has followed Tyler Herro's career since his high school days, and his return to the Bucks turned this year's camp into more than a routine offseason clinic — it became a citywide moment. Herro put it simply: "We do this camp every year, and it means a little bit more now that I'm back here playing for the Bucks." For a brand built in this city, sponsoring the camp was a natural way to celebrate that moment alongside him.
Inside the Camp
The camp took place on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at the OAW Indoor Sports Complex in New Berlin, Wisconsin, welcoming dozens of kids ages 11 to 14 for a day of drills, scrimmages, and photo opportunities with an NBA All-Star. Campers didn't just get basketball instruction — they got a firsthand look at what it means to have a hometown pro invest in his community. As one camper, Domonic Eubanks, put it: "It feels good, and it means a lot. It gives me an understanding that he cares for us." Another camper, Karlee Miller, added: "It feels really good because they understand the struggles that people go through."
Why Hypeboys Stepped Up
Hypeboys has always been about representing Milwaukee — on and off the court. Sponsoring Tyler Herro's basketball camp gave us a direct way to invest in the kids who will grow up wearing this city's jersey next, whether that's on a basketball court or walking into our Wisconsin Ave store. Supporting a hometown athlete giving back to hometown kids is exactly the kind of community moment we want to be part of.
More Than a Game
Camps like this one are a reminder of what it means when a player doesn't just come home — he shows up for the community that raised him. Hypeboys is proud to have backed an event that gave Milwaukee kids a day they won't forget, and we're looking forward to supporting more moments like it as Tyler Herro settles back into his hometown Bucks jersey.
